Electric Brake Controller plug in

We have a 2014 Forest River Forester 2301f and I would like to install an electric brake controller. Where will I find the plug to plug the controller into?

My husband is out of town but since no one has answered you I will try. I am the one who found it by searching google, but I didn't see him install it. We had to order some kind of adapter from etrailer.com (it was under $20) when I check my charge card I will see if I can find part #. Sorry I deleted the email with info.

Then I believe the plug is located on the dash and you may have to remove the little square cubby hole. I found this info on a video and it looked hard to do, however my husband said it was very simple.

I will say ordering from etrailer.com was easy and fast delivery. I feel bad I didn't bother to review the product. If I hadn't deleted the review email I could tell you what we ordered.

It would be nice if someone has a problem with a vehicle if they would state what Chassis they have. Ford, Chevy or MBS. Makes it a little easier to help. Not all of us know what the numbers mean!

Pop off the centre cover and check.
I can't see any reason it wouldn't be there. My 2017 E450 has it.

What does this plug do? What do you mean "provides power to the brake controller?" I thought the controller was connected to the battery?

The plug in the dash is for the factory brake controller. The adapter is to connect the factory plug to an aftermarket controller. Very easy to do following the directions.
