Electronic Brake controller?

is there one already in the e450, or just the plug to wire it in? And the plug at the back is it a four or 7 pin connector?

Getting closer to pulling the trigger on ordering my 3171.

No brake controller, 7pin connector.

My unit was prewired for the brake box. The plug was located behind the small coin holder above the vent on the right side. Pry the small container out of it's slot and the plug will be right behind the container. Plug the wire from the brake box and your in business. very simply to do, no wiring everything was pre wired. Good luck.
