Food in fridge/freezer while RV is having hitch placed on?

We were told to take food out of fridge/freezer when we take in the RV in to get car and RV hitches. Can’t we use dry ice to keep things cold in the fridge/freezer?

you sure can, they just probably won't have your RV plugged in while they are 'working' on it...

Most RV fries will keep things frozen and cold for many hours if the doors are not opened. I can't imagine a hitch taking longer then about 3 hours to install.
