Forester 2019 2861ds TV codes
Hi all, I hope I'm in the right place. I would like to know if anyone has the TV codes for the Continus TV in the Forester. I would like to program the TV to work with my Dish Network remote. Does anyone know the codes? Thanks you. Tim P.S.- I'm new to this site so I hope I can find this post and any answers.

Welcome to the forum. Great question, I wish I could answer. But since I also have a 2861 I would like to know this answer as well when I decide to use my DirecTV this winter.

TV remote with Dish
Use the "search for code" feature. I've had to do this for both the Direct TV and Dish Network systems on several TV's.

On one TV, I had to look on the back of the TV to see what company actually made it, as it wasn't the same as the name on the front.

Don't remember for sure (been a long time) but try Vizeo or RCA. My remotes for Dish, AppleTV and Roku all control the volume on the Continu-us tellys.

In the olden days when faced with this problem, we set the first code and tried on-off. If that didn't work, we tried the second one. When we found one that turned the TV on and off, we tried the other functions (channel up-down, volume up-down). If they didn't work, we continued trying codes until we found one that worked.

Use the RCA codes for your TV for the model of DirectTV remote you have.
