Forester versus Sunseeker
We are shopping for a Forester 2441DS or Sunseeker 2440DS. What are the differences between Sunseeker and Forester in the newer models?
We’ve only been able to see videos and read literature at this time. Last bought a 2017 Sunseeker. Stuff has changed.

Generally, I believe it's just outside graphics and interior decor.

Here's what i would do - go to the Forest River website, pull up the Forester and the Sunseeker in separate tabs/windows and switch back and forth comparing the options and features. In previous iterations, the differences (that i noticed) were in the plumbing fixtures and some uplevel lighting. There may have been other items i totally missed and now it might be much different. Compare online!

I have had both. I must say I like the Forester better since it's newer. It's sort of like comparing a Jeep Cherokee to a Grand Cherokee. I agree with pulling them up on the website and compare they change things year to year. Mine came from an RV show so it has everything. Good Luck both were good units.

As bikendan said it is just the exterior graphics and the interior decor color choices. There used to be several trim differences but that went away a few years ago.

to the OP - i tried to take my own advice to compare the 2... i called up 2024 models on RVTrader and compared photos, i went to FR website and compared stats on both models, then i pulled up the 360 view on both... i cannot find a single thing different. In fact, the 360 views are exactly the same down to the patterns in the floor and table top - it's the same file.
Good luck!~

The differences between the two lines is so minimal, it will be to your advantage to choose which model based on the best deal.
Some dealerships will carry the Sunseeker line, and other dealers the Forester line. For the most part…..a blind person would probably not be able to determine the difference.
Good luck on your shopping.

I wound up with the Forester due to availability, but gladly would have settled for the Sunseeker. It appears to be a slightly watered down version of the Forester for much less money. I doubt the quality is higher in the Forester since mine had many QC issues that I had to fix. I have full body paint... definitely not worth the cost in my opinion. Put that money into gas and camping!

In my opinion the full body paint was worth the extra money on my 2022 sunseeker. If you like to keep the coach shiny as I do, you will spend hours getting a gloss on the fiberglass only to have to repeat the process in a short time.
I have been dealing with fiberglass rv's and boats for many years in the Florida sun and full body paint saves me a lot of work and money, if I choose to pay someone, great investment for me.

Your Forester was newer than what year Sunseeker? When we were looking, the difference between the same model years, we found in the Forester 3011DS a pantry the Sunseeker 3010DS didn't have. That was the ONLY difference we saw and I would hardly call that comparing a Cherokee to a Grand Cherokee. Usually, the interior decor is a little different and maybe the graphics. Otherwise, they are the same.
