Fresh water drain location?
We were told to drain our fresh water tank before storing but we can't seem to find the drain... can someone please help. We have a 2017 Sunseeker 2500TS class C....
Think we found it!!

Welcome to the forum. Open up your water bay, on the passenger side, and you will see a valve in the back that may be hidden by the black metal cover. That valve drains your fresh water tank. Opening a faucet will act as a vacuum breaker and let the water drain quicker...

I've never heard that...
I would think that all the drains in the sinks and shower would be more than enough!

One of those weird things I learned from a RV tech during a PDI a couple RV's back. Sometimes my fresh tank starts draining instantly other times I have to open a faucet to get a decent flow. Since all the drains are on the grey tank system that might be the reason.

Drains in the sinks and showers are connected to gray/galley waste tanks. This OP is trying to drain the fresh water tank - not connected to gray/galley tanks.

The fresh water tank vent should be enough, but sometimes it is not. Opening a faucet helps to vent it.

Sorry...
I must have misread the OP...
That being said, I've never had better drain flow with the faucets open.
But I do open the cap on the fresh tank fill connection.
THAT is all you really need to do.

We have a 2016 Sunseeker 2430 GTS.
Our fresh water drain is under the bed. Not very convenient!
Our bathroom sink drains into our BLACK water tank.

I have a 2017 Sunseeker CDWS 2650. The freshwater tank is under the bed. The drain valve is on the very left side of that compartment at the very back way down at the bottom.

Opening a faucet is common when draining water lines. The drains in the sink and shower serve a completely different purpose. Faucets are for potable water, drains are for waste water.
When we drain our sticks and bricks water lines before travelling, we shut off the water, then open all of the faucets to eliminate vacuum in the lines. We also open the pressure relief valve on the hot water heater to allow it to drain faster. The water drains into a sump. Once that is done, we pour anti freeze into all of the drains. In an RV, we would also pump RV anti freeze into the water lines.

In the 2500 TS, the plumbing access is behind the black panel of the storage bay immediately behind the right rear wheels.

There seems to be some confusion.
The OP asked about draining the FRESH WATER TANK.
The advice above is good when draining the R/V plumbing via the LOW POINT DRAINS.
The opening of a faucet nor the waste water plumbing drains (sink and shower) will help in draining the FRESH WATER TANK.

Most often, when people are draining their fresh water tank, they are also winterizing the water lines. Thus, the advice.

I wouldn't say "Most often..." since many of us drain our fresh water tanks when returning home but we don't winterize water lines between trips.
