Fridge not closing

3051 double door fridge does not close tight. We also need to bungie it closed to travel. Am I missing something? Just started this trip.
Cheers

Adjustment on hinges I believe or it has a warranty I think for three years if you have it serviced every year if not you void the warranty that's the kicker

Mine won't catch properly either. Haven't looked at the hinges. I feel the latch on the door is not "springing" back far enough to catch the latch on the frame. Just the right hand door. The left works fine.

Yes, that is the same issue. Right door does not latch properly.

I'll try and take a look at that issue tomorrow. See if there is something simple I can adjust. If not it goes back to the dealer with a list of small things I want taken care of that should have been done before delivery. If it ever stops raining I need to get on my roof and check everything again while installing 3 Maxx Air vent covers

Take a small mallet (or hammer) and tap the catch on the frame it is probably not seated fully in, I had this issue on my Wildwood and also a while back helped a person on this forum correct the same issue.

I had mine at the dealer for 3 weeks for a new A/C unit. When I left the house I turned off the fridge and put the adapter on to keep the doors from closing. When I picked it up the doors would not latch so they ordered new ones which have not been put on.

We left the next day for a 1000 mile round trip and the vacuum from the fridge being on corrected the issue. Dealer said there is a known issue with the handles not latching on the 4 door one.

Is there a generic door lock for these that would slide in between the handles forcing them to latch while traveling? I'm thinking a simple plastic, wood or even a cardboard shim will force the handles to latch properly.

A ball point pen works.

Fridge not closing

Here is what I was able to do to get mine to latch. I will also keep a shim between the handles when traveling, just to make sure things stay latched while in motion. Btw, my freezer doors were both fine. Just that right fridge door had issues.
