Front Corner of Coach Separating

The front corner of my 2015 3051S Forester is coming apart does anyone know why this might be happening? I have put in some larger screws to try and pull it together but obviously that is not working as you can see in the picture.

Does anyone have an idea why this might be happening?

Pull the Soft cover out of the metal holder and you can try the screws to see if they rusted off. I have replaced several screws that have with better quality screws. While you have it loose you can add some Dicor behind the channel and screw it up tight. Maybe a little longer/bigger screws.

I tried that before and I couldn't get it to snug up but I will try that again. What mystifies me is why this is happening in the first place as the screws were not rusted off.

So I tried again and it was not the diameter of the screw but the length I had to use 2 inch screws and drill the metal that was about 1 1/2 inches in depth in the existing holes to have something to grab onto. Once I drilled through the metal I could use the screws to snug the corner up.

Hurrah! Fixed!

Glad to hear you got it. I was not sure how thick the wall was there. I found some that the ends were rusted away, but then mine is a 2012.
