Front end bounce

The front end of my 3011 bounces a bit going over big bumps or transitions on the highway. If I was to describe the situation it would be akin to running with worn shocks. I was thinking that some airbags in the front or upgraded shocks would help the situation but I don't know which would be better. The bounce isn't a big problem, more of just an annoyance. The front end normally only bounces two times but if I was slamming on the brakes I could see the bounce as being dangerous.

Could also be too much weight on the back. If there is not enough weight on the front it has a tendency to do that as well.

Mr Happy

The very first time I drive our forester, it felt very light in the front end. Definitely a little bounce, definitely a little wander. I put an additional 15 or so pounds of air in the rear airbags (shifting some weight to the front) and it made all the difference in the world.

Might help

Added 5 psi to the rear bags to bring them to 80 and it helped but wasn't a cure all. This trip we used the toad and moved the bikes to it and viola! No more bounce. There was too much weight on the back just like bc suggested. Thanks for the tip!

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
