Thumbs down Front tv not working

The Connexx tv in the front of 2021 3010ds motorhome is not working. The tv has no red light indicating power. I was adding a hdmi device when I noticed this. I do not know whether it had power before I added the hdmi cord. What could cause the loss of power? I tightened all cords I could see. The wires run behind a wall so I cannot see how the tv is plugged in. I checked the breakers and all ok other TVs are working fine. What should I do?

It's more then likely a 12v tv. Follow the wires behind it, look for an in-line fuse, which may be blown.

I’m not sure what a inline fuse is. Would that be by the breaker box?

The in-line fuse could look like either of the styles in the attached photos.
It would be close to the TV itself……not at the breaker box.

Thanks for the pic. I did see that top picture behind the tv. Do these TVs use regular automotive fuses? Or would I have to get someplace special?

Regular automotive fuse. Just match the amperage by the colour of the fuse.
They usually have small numbers on them indicating the amperage.

Maybe you could review the different fuses in your breaker panel, and buy some spares at any automotive store…..just to have on hand….just in case.

You can always test using a lower amperage fuse, but NEVER use a higher amperage. They’re all rated differently for a reason.

You're camping, why do you need a TV?

If it's a 12V TV, the plug may also have an in line fuse in it. It bears mentiontioning that the socket should also be checked for power, just saying!

How was the issue resolved?

Forest River nationwide warranty in on paper only. In reality you are unable to use it with 8 weeks and longer waiting time for a service appointment in case of a defect.

The OP hasn't posted here since October of last year.
You might be better off by sending them a PM.
