Posting exclusively in the Forester/Sunseeker section for the amusement of fellow Forester/Sunseeker owners.
It depends on the thermostat type you have and how the thermostat is set. This topic comes up often. Search on “fan runs thermostat” and you’ll see some discussions like the one linked below. Setting fan to “auto” seems to be the common solution if you don’t want it to run with the furnace.
