Gap when couch removed?

Removed couch in Sunseeker. The slide is elevated about 6 inches. We'll be using a recliner (s) Any suggestions on how to cover the gap? Pictures attached

You could make a skirt out of fabric to coordinate with your recliners. If you used lighter fabric you could shirr it, or pleat heavier fabric. Attach with velcro so you can remove for washing or drycleaning (depending on fabric). If you used lightweight fabric you could even use "no-sew" hem tape, but if you go this route be careful with laundering. A skirt will also help keep dust, debris, and (if applicable) pet hair out from underneath.

Ours has a rubber flexable seal that's scewed to the front of that lip. Wonder what happened to yours? It doesn't look the best, but gets the job done.

Ours is a 2007 Sunseeker. We just had the couch removed, so maybe it didn't have a rubber flexible seal???? Widogmom, I'm thinking velcro and material might work. If not, it won't cost an arm and a leg to change it again. It won't drag to mess up the motor. Thanks for the tips yal. Others? Pictures?

I like the velcro / material option. If you're looking for something flexible, yet sturdy, maybe try "pleather" as your material. It would hand straight down & be weather/water resistant. A less flexible option may be Peel/Stick floor tiles to match your floor - Attached with velcro, or more permanently (tacks/staples/screws)?

I like the pleather idea especially for cleanliness and texture for hanging.
Thank you all.

We did the same with the skirt idea when we put in our reclining loveseat to cover the rubber flap. Used hot glue.

I made a skirt out of some old carpet I had, it matched the carpet in the bedroom side. It's EZ to push out of the way when sweeping up.

We put a lazyboy w a swivel base. Hubs is physically handicapped and it makes it easier to sit.

I don't know why the pic is posting upside down, but I hot glued pleather around the platform last night. Have not removed seat belts yet. Right now we have a lazy boy sitting parallel to the window. DH is relaxing w his feet elevated.
Thanks!!

I've seen this one online. Love it. Looks like it hangs over the platform just a little. Glad to know that works!!

yes, I mounted it on metal L brackets, it hangs over just about 8 inches, so it could recline back without hitting the windows.
