Generator

I have a 2017 Forester 3011 DS. THE generator runs but it's not powering anything. I reset the breaker and it is not powering anything. Any ideas?

Recap…….you didn’t identify what brand or model of generator you have.
Is it an Onan? 4KW?
Do you have an ATS or do you have to plug in?
Has this genny ever worked for you?
Where is the breaker that you reset located.

If the breaker on the side of the generator did t get it working and if everything works when on shore power the likely culprit would be the ATS. Sometimes the contactor sticks.

from our electrical team

"I would check the circuit breaker at the generator to be sure it hasn’t reset and the circuit breaker at the breaker panel located in the bed base. Unplug shore power if plugged in. if all of this is done and the generator is still not outputting any power then a tech will need to check for voltage coming from the generator to the transfer switch. If no voltage is coming from the generator then the generator has an issue. If voltage is present at the transfer switch but no output then the transfer switch is defective."
