Generator

Can the generator be used when the vehicle is parked on a slope or does it have to be level similar to the fridge?

I ask because when our power goes out at home the next time, I would like to be able to use the onboard generator for the home (not to run it 24 / 7 but occasionally to keep the home fridge cool, etc).

I was planning to buy a separate generator for the home but thinking I could use the RV generator.

It can be run. It has a fuel pump so it can draw the fuel it needs even on a slope. It's fuel pickup in the tank is high enough that it will run out of gas while there is still about a quarter of a tank so you still have fuel to run the RV. That may be affected some by not being level -either causing it to run out of fuel sooner or later than normal.

I'd be worried about the crankcase oil and pickup a little .
I guess it depends on which way un level..
I'm assuming not severely UN level ??

The vehicle is unlevel front to back so the generator is unlevel side to side. The front part of the vehicle or the left side of the generator is the low point.

As far as the amount of unlevelness - I can back into the driveway without scraping anything underneath.
