Heater problems

We have a 3170DS Sunseeker. We set the thermostat for the heater at 70 and it will not stay on to get to the set temperature. It keeps turning itself off. Any suggestions?

There may be an insect or nest in your outside heater vent. Look for a round ejection port on the outside and clean it out.

Thanks for the reply! We tried that. It's blowing good heat out of that exit port. We just wonder why it kicks off before it gets even close to the set temperature.

It should be behind a big vent. Pull the vent off and make sure all the ducts are connected and nothing is blocking/crushing any of the tubes for heat. Restricted air flow shuts down heater.
