HELP! Dometic Ice Maker does not work

2013 Forester 3011DS Dometic refer with 4 doors and a ice maker that does not work. Found the supply valve under the stove it is a push/pull style of valve. Dometic instruction booklet was no help nor was the dealer service department. Ice tray does not seem to be filling and I cannot tell which setting opens the supply valve. Further I cannot see where the feed line enters the ice maker. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dometic 4 door ref with ice maker

This one was a pain in the ???. I have a new 2014 3011DS with 4 door ref/ice maker. When I took delivery in Aug of 2013 everything worked perfect with the ref and ice maker. What I didn't know was that there is a heated temp circuit to prevent the water in the ice maker from freezing, (kicks on at 32 degrees whether there is water in the lines or not). So when I drained the ice maker line the heater circuit turned on when it dropped below 32 degrees. I was still plugged into AC. What I found out later is the heater circuit melted the water line going into the ice maker. The fix is to totally remove the ref to access the water line going up to the right rear of the ref facing from the front. There is a 1/4" plastic tube that feeds the water up to a "water trough" that then drops into the ice maker. I rebuilt the heater wire into a new 1/4" plastic line and replaced the entire new line. A couple of pointers:
- Make a stand the same level as ref when you pull it out of the wall, so you don't have to lift the ref down on the floor.
- Remove the 3A fuse that feeds the heater circuit or you'll be doing this again. Remember to put fuse back in if your a cold weather camper.
- Fix and repair the broken 12 volt fans when your back there.

Good luck. Sorry for the long explaination.

If it's a small white push/pull type valve like mine there is moulded in printing on top of the push/pull plunger. I think you push for "on" (open). I believe the ice maker is the same as you would have in your home fridge. If you have the manual it should show all you are asking except for the shutoff valve; mine does.
