Hello, we have recently purchased a sunseeker 3050sClick image for larger version

ID:	196111. We are upgrading from a travel trailer, i have started to look at some things that i need now that I’d didn’t need when towing trailer and the first is a hitch mounted bicycle rack. I am looking for any suggestions or recommendations. I think i would like one that comes with a storage tray also so if i have any dirty items i can carry them there. I have found one which i attached a picture of if anyone has used this before or know of another brand your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

With that long hitch shank, you are going to have a lot of bounce. Might be better off with something with shorter shank.

Find one that is approved for use on RVs (many are not). On Amazon, search for "Swagman RV bicycle rack."

I built one for the rear off my frame rail so I could have them above the motorcycle.
I used 1/4" square alum hitch tubing and it flexed too much.
Had to attach it to the frame of the motorhome rear wall with urethane bushings.
Rides solid. No issues yet after several thousand miles.
I can remove either the bicycles or the m/c without the other.
And it comes apart completely in less than 5 minutes.Click image for larger version

That unit you posted in the OP will flex like crazy and bounce up a storm.

I think this much weight added to the tail end of your trailer could drop your tongue weight to a level that would cause towing control problems.

Love our Swagman (RV approved). No rack or bike movement -0.

Check out the videos on eTrailer.com.

Not cheap. You don't always get what you pay for, but you rarely get what you don't play for.

Get the RV approved hitch!

We have two bike racks. One goes on the toad, the other on the RV. The RV is a Swagman that is approved for RVs, the one on the toad is a smaller one that isn't approved for RVs but is lighter weight.

We have a Malone Pilot bike hitch that is solid as a rock. Our bikes load easily and lock down tight .With a nice cover, our bikes arrive in fine shape. I am referring to long interstate trips to the Keys or Myrtle Beach on terrible roads. It never fails to see an rv pulled over checking loose or missing bikes.
