My ac has always leaked, always assumed it was something with drainage. Finally I removed the ac unit to find a bunch of pinholes outside the seal. These appear to be machined, and are not used to secure anything. If you have a similar issue this is probably the cause.
looks like the ac may have been added after the fact and a vent was there at first and then removed to make room for ac .when ac's are installed they do not fasten from the top but 4 bolts from inside
