Hot water heater 2009 sunseeker 3100ss

The suburban water heater is 110v or propane, yes theres only one switch on the convenience panel to operate. Are these factory wired to operate on electric when the shore line is plugged in or only propane ALL the time?

Outside switch is for 120 volt when running genny or shore power. Propane is for any time. Meaning you can use both at the same time for faster recovery. I turn my elec off before breaking down after camping and the last thing I turn on after setting up. Only burnt out the elec element once.

It's a black rocker switch hidden behind the tubing, on the lower left.
The inside switch is for the propane side.

If you have a Suburban tank type water heater, then this thread will help explain it's operation and the switch for the electric heating element (if equipped).
