Interior condensation: what to do?

I noticed condensation along the front of my overhead and in the cabinet above the refrigerator. I have vent covers and keep my vents partially open all the time. How else can I fight the condensation?

Had that same problem last year with the Sunnybrook. Since it does not get any direct sunshine on it because of the full awning cover, mildew has been a bad problem. While we gone to Alaska this summer, we used a Dehumidifier unit with the drain line run to the shower. Since the coach is hooked up to exterior black water septic tank, the water just runs out. When we reurned after 4 1/2 months, the Rv inside was great, the air inside had a scent almost like rose's. Today in the fall, we supplment the propane furnance with electric haet, does a good job as the propane does have a high moisture content.

Two large containers of Damprid also helps.

X2 on the Damprid. I used 3 last year and they collected a good amount of water. Pretty cheap and maintenance free fix. Two in the main area and one in the bedroom.
I left the 5r locked up all last winter and it had no musty smell when we got back in it. The Damprids were about 3/4 full of water.

Although it would seem logical to vent the coach it is best to keep it tightly closed up. Temperature changes and moist air coming in the vents causes the condensation. The best would be run a dehumidifier but a couple buckets of damprid will work for shorter terms.

I will echo the Damprid. We use the hanging ones year around. While they aren't the most beautiful to look at they do work well in the damp Western Oregon. We can get out most year around and tend to head to the coast so they are worth the five bucks or so. I keep one in the bedroom and another in the living area.

I have had one start to leak at a seam but it might have gotten pinched in a closet door. Had another that was iffy so out it went.
