Is water pump area heated by furnace?

The dealer de-winterized last Friday. We sanitized the water system yesterday. We leave for Disney this Saturday.

Now, according to our local weatherman, here are the nightime lows between now & when we leave:
36 30 26 20 26 29

I'm thinking the 26, 29, & 30 degree nights are OK.

I'm worried about the 20 degree night though.

I'm planning to bring the unit from storage to our driveway. I will run the furnace at a low setting (50 degrees maybe). I think that will keep the pipes warm enough. All the tanks are empty but it should also keep them warm enough for any residual water inside. I am also planning to run the water heater as there is water in that tank.

Crossing my fingers on the outside shower & any water that may be in the city water attachment.

I am most concerned about the water pump. In our unit, it's in a storage bin, behind a black plastic door. I figure that could get real cold.

Does anybody know if the water pump area gets any furnace air? Or should I put a space heater in the storage bin to keep it warm? Is there anything else I need to be concerned about?

Thanks!

Blow it out with the air compressor and save yourself from hearing it. If you can't do that, run the furnace at 50 degrees. That bay is heated since its part of the water systems area.

I would definitely open the low point drain lines. They stick down below and outside the the heated compartments and will for sure freeze at 20 degrees and likely crack the hard plastic fittings at the end. Not sure why FR builds them this way with exposed piping. Kind of defeats the purpose of heated compartments.

That black plastic door covers the water pump AND the water filter. Those areas are heated by the furnace. There is a door there because we wanted to minimize the tank area that needed heat, so that eliminates that storage compartment from heat. (other than whats behind door #1)
