Just bought new Forester 3011DS...question TYRON

Signed on the dotted line this afternoon. Went over the rig pretty well (twice) and only found four things (all minor) that need fixed prior to delivery.

During sales discussion I was told I should get the Tyron Flat Tire Protection. Sales guy wasn't sure about cost but said it would come up during delivery and closing.

Anyone heard or this, use it, have any info. Did a google search and didn't turn up much helpful info. Cost??

$1,400 to $2,000 needless up charge - you know not to buy the stuff that comes up during the closing and financing stage of the purchase, right? Pure extra profit to the dealer and the salesman.

Tyron-usa.com supposed to prevent loss of control after a blow-out. Just IMHO, nothing is 100% effective, but I am hoping to prevent the blow-out by monitoring tire temp and pressure via TST or similar TPMS. My 2cents...
