Keyless lock recommendations?

Thinking about getting a keyless lock for our 3051. I saw rvlock ad but wondering if Anyone has one and any recommendations?

I have an RVlock 4.0 and am very happy with it. It was easy to install and works well. We almost always use the keypad and rarely use the remote. Two minor complaints:
1. The keypad material is soft and wife put dents in in with her fingernail so its fairly easy to tell which #s are included in our code. Very reasonably priced replacement keypad material fixed that.
2. The grab handle from the inside is plastic and has some give. It *feels* like its flexing more than I would expect, but its holding up fine.

Other than that, I couldn't be happier. No more carrying keys around and no more fighting with a key in those awful cylinder locks.

They give discounts several times a year, often around holidays, but unfortunately you just missed the last window. If you're willing to wait, sign up for their email list and wait for Memorial Day Weekend.

X2 we love the remote function. We seldom use the keypad and in the mad dash from the truck to the 5th wheel in the rain, the door is unlocked, no fumbling for a key or code.

One of the first things I did to the trailer was to add a 4.0 RvLock. Took some tweaking to get it to work properly but it works great and I would do it again. That exact lock is an option on Lance trailers which is a high quality trailer.

Have a key on your person every time that you leave and lock your 'Keyless' entry.

First hand experience, 'Keyless' entry may work flawless.... until it does not. Contacts get corroded, door lock 'twisted' and will lock but not unlock, battery drained... 'stuff' WILL happen and you WILL be locked out unless you have a physical key. Keep a key 'hid' outside the unit or on you person at all times... you will at one point down the road be glad you did.

Been there, done that....

Yep... keep key in the truck. We have keyless entry on all of our houses too. Always a spare key somewhere.

That thought crossed my mind. Thanks for the reminder.

We also have the RVLock 4.0 system. We keep our RV in a storage lot, and waaaaay too many times have we showed up to do one little thing, or grab one little thing, and not had the key... So we also ordered extra keys and leave a key in every vehicle. So if the keyless fails, we still have a key that we can get to.

After having used the previous version, maybe 3.0, not sure (which we hated) and the Bauer (which we also hated) we were hesitant to get another. The big issue with the previous ones was the handle (on the inside) was plastic, and always felt like it was going to break when closing the door. But the reviews were so good on the 4.0 that we decided to pull the trigger and get one. We are not disappointed. The only down side is that the volume on the lock will wake the dead within a 300 mile radius, lol. Fortunately, if you hold down a combination of buttons (off the top of my head I dont remember but have it written down on the instructions) you can silence the lock.

I agree with the noise. I silenced it for awhile but turned it back on. I liked the feedback that I actually pushed the button. Wish you could turn the volume down. I may add a resistor to make it less.
