So noticed water dripping out of rear wheel well and found water behind the black mesh liner. It was also torn a bit, maybe hit by rocks. Took the really flimsy trim off and found an open channel with sand and gravel up in it. Also found the caulking missing along the outside wall bottom trim.
I think water was draining off the roof down the outside wall and running along the un-caulked bottom trim. Also had a couple caulking gaps around storage compartments. This might explain my storage compartment coming loose and rusty screws holding them.
So lots of ProSeal caulking along all the trim & seals. Also decided to cover the open channel with some aluminum flashing I had around. Caulked it in place plus tucked it under the bottom trim. Hope this will prevent road dirt and water from getting in there.
The plastic trim strip covers all the caulking and aluminum. Hopefully this makes it all more watertight.
