LED lights failing.

2018 Forester 2401ws we have had 2 of the LED interior lights fail. They started flashing rapidly. Has anyone else had this problem or is there a recall on these Command lights. Click image for larger version

No recall I’ve heard of. These lights seem to last a couple of months or maybe a couple of years. It’s one of those “get used to it” things with all RVs. They are cheap so get a few spares.

Typically, when these LED lights fail, it's the driver chips and they start flickering or blinking like you mentioned. LEDs are often advertised as 50,000 hours and the LEDs themselves do last that long, but the drivers, resistors, and cheap manufacturing makes them fail. If you're still under warranty you can probably get them replaced, but if not, they aren't very expensive and there are all sorts of them in different styles on places like Amazon

Try contacting Command Electronics direct by phone. They are very helpful and will sell/replace just the LED insert which is much cheaper than buying the entire light and housing.

LED lights failing.

I’ve read that when you talk to Command tell them you would appreciate it if they sent you a bunch of extras as you’ve read about many failing. I’ve heard they will send you a dozen or more at no charge.
