Linoleum while driving

While driving home last night, I noticed my linoleum had air under it. All of it, across the entire kitchen/dining area. The air seems to be coming in from under the couch/stove slide. What can I do about this? Shouldn't this be glued down?? Why is there air coming in??

Ours has done that... Weird, doesn't do it all the time.

It is glued down in certain areas. The floor we use needs to be allowed to expand/retract to prevent cracking or pulling up so we don't glue the entire underneath. It is also stapled to the floor along the exterior edges.

That's exactly what my dealer told me about mine. (I, also, had a few bubble where it would stick up a bit.) But, looking at it this Spring, it looks like the cold made it shrink just a bit.

Maybe an opening near a vent? (It should've been glued down around all the vents)

I don't have any floor vents.

low pressure in the coach wil lift vinyl. close windows and vents when traveling.

I wouldn't be too concerned about a little air under the floor when driving even though it should be sealed enough on the edges to prevent it from happening. However I would be concerned when driving in rain as moisture could get under the floor which could create mold, warping, or rot conditions. If you can't figure out where it's getting in and seal it then driving with all the windows and vents closed while keeping the cab HVAC on should pressurize the coach and maybe prevent the issue. However I doubt it because the air getting under the floor may not be communicating with the air volume in the coach (unless there are leaking penetrations in the floor) and the pressure in the coach may not affect it.

I hope you get this figured out. I don's think it would be normal for any motorhome with lino to lift while driving, even if you do have the windows open. There must be something wrong here.

We ordered a 2016 3170ds with all lino, and I hope we don't run into the same problem you are having.

All openings/penetrations through the floor are glued.

It looks like the linoleum under the couch is only stapled. We did have the ceiling vents open while driving because it was 70 degrees out and it was warm in the back for the kids.

IMO, it should not be considered "normal" for air to get under the linoleum and lift it on any RV - popup, TT, 5er or MH. Nor should there be enough vacuum created while driving to lift it.

I understand the need for expansion and contraction but you'd think as a minimum it should be glued at all penetrations and along the slideout. Those are the only places you'd expect to potentially have air flowing in.

Would this be a problem only with units that have slides We have a 2300 no slide hope we do not have this issue we have had enough with our door!
