Main Awning shows on control panel, others do not...

Forest River-2801QS

I have a unique problem in that my main awning works fine, but the other awnings which used to show up on the Lippert control panel no longer show up. Is there a separate location for the fuse for these other awnings? I've located the main awning fuse for the large side awning which is to the left of the first step into the RV, and like I said, it works fine.

Was wondering if anyone has had any experience in validating that there are two separate fuses for these awning systems.

Thanks

What year is your 2801qs? Mines a 2015 so it doesn’t have the touch panel but I’m kind of puzzled because I only have one awning and other 2801’s I’ve seen are the same. The only other thing I can think of is the slide toppers but they come out with the slides. Do you have any pictures?

Thanks for the quick response Tombsy. Our is a 2018. If you look close you can see the other awnings here.

Awning vs Slide Topper

I have a 2018 and there is no difference between the Forester and Sunseeker in this respect. You have one awning. The others are slide toppers and they are 100% mechanical. They cant show up on your one touch as far as I know. Only your slides.

We recently purchased our RV but when I was shown the control panel I was sure I saw the other awnings listed under the main awning. But that would make sense. I’ll do some more checking. Thanks

You cannot extend them manually. They are attached on one side to the outer wall of the MH and on the other side to the outer edge of the slide. Sometimes OneControl will say “Awnings” which brings up another display saying “Main Awning”. My OC shows “Slides” and when selected brings up an icon saying “Main Slide”. But there is only one slide.

The slide toppers are the answer. Not sure why I fixated on having seen other awnings listed. You guys have pointed out the obvious to a newbie, but I sure learned a lot about fuses and the main awning while I was trying to figure this out.
