Thanks to everyone who chipped in!

Glad this issue was simple. I had the generator trip on a recent trip and I figured out it was the breaker at the generator.
Overload on the generator will trip this breaker.
I have a Sunseeker 2440DS (30A) and found if I run the air conditioner, the microwave and the hot water on electric, I will trip the generator or the surge protector I use on the shore power.
Just something to keep in mind. Try not to overload the circuits.
Im more careful now.

Did you also check the breaker on the generator? There is a breaker there as well. Or do other plugs work and just not the microwave?

The OP found and corrected the issue in post # 20. It was indeed the breaker.
