Mirror cameras

Anyone taken the mirror cameras apart? While driving sometimes get a fuzzy film look on the left camera image, sort of like water inside lens.

Mine does the same but it's the haze from the sun. When you turn a different direction it goes away.

Yes I replaced both of mine looked like moisture had entered the waterproof lens you will have to take apart mirror arm as well so that you can plug new ones in if you replace. Now I do get a bright haze in the sun but can see it clear up as clouds pass over reflection from Rv sides I have some pics if you ever need them all screws are Allen screw except the bolt that holds the mirror arm total of 6 screws and 1 bolt to change 1 side out 30 minute job the first time then much faster

Just a note the camera housing that the lens fits in doesn't matter if it shows signs of water sitting in it the camera lens is water proof took me awhile to understand what Tlogan was telling me

Both my left and ride fog up after about 15 minutes of driving. I wonder if the camera manufacturer is aware of it. Almost makes the cameras useless.

I haven't had any issues with the fender mounted cameras on my "W". But the rear camera holds a nice big drop of water making the top half of the screen unviewable.
