Great service, I sent an email late Friday and got a call back right away.

Our GTS's Christmas present showed up today after being back ordered for over a month. I ordered the B&I 30 Piece 2D Wood Dash Kit in RV Match Cherry Wood from AutoAnything. See Here. The reason I went with this kit as it provides the most coverage for the doors....which have a lot of bland plastic. I probably won't install all of the dash parts as I don't like the stand alone A/C vent trim rings particularly.

If it had shown up last week I could have installed it as it was in the high 60's here. Now it is down in the low 30's so it may be awhile before I can "bling" the cab a bit.

Nice kit, I've looked at those but never done one. So Rvlock has sent me a brand new lock even shipping directly to Canada., fantastic service.

They are great with customer service. I bought the keyed version for my trailer. After it arrived, I traded in the trailer and they let me send the lock back for a refund. I would definitely buy from them again. Haven't looked at their site lately. Did not know they had these for motorhome S as well.

At it again. I added bars for a washcloth and hand towel in the bathroom.

The lower one is a little in one's face, but there is not a lot of room in these things.

How did you attach the towel bars to the wall? Thanks!

There is a wooden beam in the wall at each end of the board, so I was able to drill holes and use regular wood screws. These are actually 9 in. toilet paper bars, but they work perfectly for wash cloth and Gand towels.

We added a quick and easy mod at the Ford dealer yesterday. We had a key less entry pad installed on the drivers door. This one is the smaller sized key pad designed for cars. The cost was $99 with the kit, reprogramming, installation and taxes.

Note: If you want this done you need to bring in all your key fobs for the reprogramming...

Hi Wayne
I have the keypad on my wishlist. I installed one on my pickup over 5 years ago and still works great. $99 is a great price installed.

That certainly would be an inexpensive option to allow you inside the RV if you forgot, misplaced or don't have your keys handy.

Or if I want to intentionally lock my keys in the RV... If we are heading for a place we are going to get wet, like white water rafting, I can now just stash the keys and lock the doors...

I have built in keypads on our two other vehicles so we just use one common code for all three to keep it simple...

Went by our dealer today and added another mod to be installed while the shop has our GTS. I'm having the Heng fan in the bathroom replaced with a Fan-Tastic Vent Ez-Breeze. See Here. I went with a smoke color to match the other "stuff" on the roof.

Cool RedLdr1. I can't move. Mine is surrounded by a foot of snow and it is still coming down. You are missing all of the fun.

I've lived up north... Maine and Montana come to mind...and I don't mind missing that "fun"!

Amateur woodworker - miniature second tier spice rack for inside of the sliding pantry. It holds 3 spice bottles. The first tier will simply be a petition. I have to decide whether it will hold 3 or six spice bottle - leaning towards just 3. I have to move 15 or more inches of snow to get inside to install it. 4 weeks til Spring.Click image for larger version

Nice addition... I got lazy and put plastic spice holders on the inside of one of the cabinet doors. They were on close out for a dollar a package so I couldn't resist. I'm thinking about enclosing the back of the slide out pantry, the side towards the bedroom, with a piece of paneling or tight weave black plastic mesh. There have been a couple times something almost fell out. Any thoughts on that mod?

Also if someone could measure the skylight in the living room and post its size I'd appreciate it. I forgot to measure ours before I turned our GTS to the dealer. I'm looking at ways to block off more light / heat from that skylight. The built in cloth / paper cover allows in too much light and heat for the A/C to deal with....

On the skylight, I cut a piece of Reflectix insulation - the silver stuff- and slide it between the shade and skylight. Works great at blocking heat and light. By the way, if I open the shade 3 or 4 inches, I can slide the Reflectix partially out, thus adjusting the amount of heat and light that I let in. This is great for rainy days or in the evening after the heat of the day has past.

In the shower, I painted the outside of the skylight with white plastic paint. I also cut a piece of dark vinyl from an old SUV shade and put in the shower so, I could adjust the amount of remaining light that comes in. I will post a picture of both, the next time I am in there. It is still 35*F, too cold to play in there. It is supposed to be in the 40's on Sun. I hope to get in there Sun. or Mon.

As far as the pantry is concerned, I have not thought about the large opening towards the bedroom, but I have thought of closing off part of the space at the back of the pantry towards the outer wall. Perhaps adding 4-6 inches to the height of the lip on each shelf. This concept would work on the side you are referring to, as well.

I plan on using Reflectix for the skylights as well. But I may use Velcro in the living room. Velcro washers on the screws in the corners of the frame and then super glue / sew soft Velcro on the Reflextix. That way I can leave the OEM window shade fully closed so it won't deteriorate as fast.

What brand of paint did you use on the shower skylight? And did you paint it on the outside or inside?

I intend to close off the rear (passenger side) of the pantry as well when I do the bedroom side. We haven't lost anything in their yet but is is only a matter of time I suspect...

ID:	132233. Reflectix in skylight. I often leave the shade open just enough to slide the insulation in and out.

ID:	132234 Plastic in the shower. I painted the top portion and left about an inch or so around the bottom unpainted. I may paint the rest this summer as quite a bit of light still comes through, just not burning sun. I used a can that said plastic paint from Lowes, I think. I will look for the can later.
