The chairs are in, they couldn’t have been a better fit. I did have to remove the shelf, but then I had a brainwave, (okay the wife helped lol), that maybe it would fit next to the bed.
Turns out it’s a perfect fit to clear the bed slide, I trimmed it 32”.

Put in the new tune and the shelf today, the shelf fit like it was made for it, clears the slide valance by 1/2”.
The weather getting better I’m going to bring it home tomorrow and try to get loaded up to go fishing for a few weeks.

Tombstone, you are too smart. I forgot to ask for the shelf they removed. How did you bolt the chairs down and how did you attach the shelf to the wall. Are there studs there? Of course the shelf may make it more difficult to get to the inside of the slide motor and seals for lubrication.
They drilled through my slide floor and placed flat bolts on the outside that the fastened the chairs to. I don't like that method, but they said that is the standard way the put these in. The showed me the same set up on an expensive DP. Oh well more sealant when I get home. It is nice to have a comfortable spot to sit in here. Next I need to find comfortable dinette cushions.

Wow looks fantastic, lol Tombstone has been my nickname forever. The old couch was held down with 4 giant lag screws that weren’t really tight. I used a smaller version and used more of them. I used the seatbelts to hold them as well for good measure.
The shelf I used 8 command strips on the support blocks and two of the screws they used to hold it, looks like a screw meant for hardboard. No studs there but the wall seems thicker.

Thanks Duckogram, much more comfortable.
Anybody using seat covers on the driver and passenger seats? I noticed some fraying of the stitches on the door side of the seat. My concern is do covers keep the leatherette (or whatever these are) from breathing and cause damage over the long term.
If anyone is using a cover, do you have any recommendations for one you like? I have covered cloth seats before, but never leather or fake leather.

I had covers on my vinyl seats in the ‘14 Coachmen due to separation of the vinyl from the backing. I used the faux simulated fake leather, slightly padded slip-on numbers from CW. They looked like the junk one would expect to find in a red-neck cadillac towing a 1980’s vintage Scamp. If I had a rear view mirror I would have hung a pine tree air freshener to complete the look. In the future I will wear out the oem stuff then go to an upholstry shop and get the “Corinthian Leather”.
Edit: Found a post “Irma” photo in the cloud. Posted below so you can get the “Full Monty” experience.

Yeah, I saw those. It seems most quality, already made ones are for cars and trucks, or class A's. Looks like I may have to get one made.

Finally all loaded up to head to B.C. for 3 weeks fishing, can’t de-winterize yet still a little cold at night. I’m heading up thru Banff and the Icefield Parkway then stop for the night in Jasper.

I’m jealous. Two more months before we can head out.

Dimmable blue led light added. I also added one over the entrance door, but it is not hooked to power yet.

Yeah that might be where ours is, that would be directly across from where the tie-in is outside make sense
