Need an idea for phone/Kindle charging shelf

Have a 2016 Sunseeker 2430S. We don't care much for the web-thingy that is meant to hold electronics when charging. Has anyone put in a shelf in that area? We need something that would not be in the way for someone sitting in the dinette.

I out a small 1/4 round folding table in the corner behind the dinette that is high enough to not hit it with your head. Folding brackets also in case you want to lower it. Just above the 12 and 110 volt outlets.

I don't have a photo of it but it is similar to this center cocktail table I also installed- they match- one half, one 1/4 round.
Round 1" pine is available at hardware stores. Folding brackets- Amazon.
I removed the dinette also as you can see.
