Need Velcro buttons for privacy curtain

ID:	62008I have a 2012 Sunseeker 2250 and need additional buttons to fully utilize my privacy curtain and have been unable to duplicate the factory buttons. I've tried fabric stores, Amazon, RV suppliers and also emailed Forest River; who never responded.

Has anyone seen them out there?

I have seen them in my RV as well but I am sorry to say that I cannot tell you where to find them. Did you walk into a dealer and see if they could order you some?

Terry, send a PM to bclemens. Very possible he can send you some. He's helped me out with some other stuff.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

Terry, I don't know if these are exact as I did not want Velcro with holes, but McMaster-Carr has something quite similar. Search "Velcro," click "Hook & loop" then "Disks."

Terry, shoot me a PM with your address. I grabbed a handful last time I was in the plant just in case.

meant to have you "private message" that. I have it now, so I would go ahead and delete this post so no one spams your email or shows up at your house.

Terry C,
Due to reasons bclemens stated I went ahead and deleted your post since he has the information requested.

Take care,
Terie

Thank you

Thank you for doing that. I'm brand new to the system and have no idea how to navigate yet.

No problem. You are going well. Member's editing option only stays open for a limited period of time so I did a little site team's magic on your behalf.

PS
Here's a link that I found helpful when I was just starting out here.

Time to revive an old thread... I'm looking for some of these Velcro button for my "W" and can't locate them. Our privacy curtain needs four more of these to prevent it from sagging all over the place! Any one have a source?

Thanks,

You're in luck!
2 years ago I found a company that sells them, mainly to the RV industry. They're called "Velwashers". You can contact the company by email or phone. I got 50 of them at the time, the lady I spoke to was very nice and helpful and everything went smoothly. FYI, the size used in RVs (55/64") only comes in beige, and it's the "hooked" side (with a hole in the middle for the screw), the "furry" part is on whatever you want to attach.
VELWASHER™ Brand Fasteners
Good luck!

I am not sure if this will help you especially since you received some good answers...

My 2250 only had two of those velcro buttons for the privacy curtain. I mentioned it to the service writer at the dealership while it was in for other stuff and the tech kindly pointed out that all of the other velcro buttons had caps covering them. Pull off the cap and you have the velcro there for hanging the curtain.

KAS, thanks for the link! I'll call them and see what their minimum order is... Hopefully it is not 100+ I don't want to be in the Velcro dot business!

Delco Bobby, In our case the buttons aren't covered unfortunately. I suspect our velcro dots were installed to fit a privacy cover for a unit with a top bunk instead of the entertainment center we ordered. I need to add two dots on both sides, above and behind the cab seats, to hang the cover without it sagging down on both sides.

Go to Amazon and punch in velwashers. Packs of 25 for under 20 bucks.

velcro for dinette cushions

While we are on the subject of velcro I need help with the velcro that is supposed to keep my dinette seat cushions from sliding around.

It seem the velcro is not holding them in place. The velcro appears to be clean and in good condition. There are velcro buttons on the wood and velcro stops on the cushion backs.

I have been thinking of adding some velcro strips to both sides but maybe someone has another solution.

Bobby

Privacy Curtain VelWasher (Velcro Circle) Source.

Update: I just ordered from Troyer Products. The Part Number for the One Inch, Beige, Male, Velwasher as used in our "W" is VW083. The price was $.32 each and the minimum order is ten (10). The UPS shipping costs will probably be more than the Velwashers...

I checked Amazon and only found large quantity lots being offered in Black. I'm sure listings change almost daily so you may get lucky and find Beige on Amazon.

I'm not even going to look for the Square Drive screws used to mount the existing Velwashers. A trip to Ace Hardware for some regular screws and some White model paint will work for me...

Thanks again to all those who responded with the correct part name and sources!
