New floorplans?

Any FR folks want to tease us some more??? Per an earlier post on this board, it sounded like there were new floorplans being worked on. And then the Sunseeker Facebook page talks about a new 4 door 12 cubic foot fridge "coming soon". Any additional comments such as which old floorplans are going away, what's coming, & when?

I don't want to badger him (I think it's incredibly generous for him to participate on his time) - perhaps he'll read & respond.

I say badger him! I will make certain he is aware you are asking and he should answer, if he doesn't before I see him.

That's only fair jamiller45 since I send all the electrical stuff your way.

This question is sort of two fold.
#1 There is a new floor plan coming...I can't give any info on that since it is still in testing. I can say that barring any weight issues it will have a 12 cubic foot fridge.

#2 In designing that floor plan we found we could also fit that fridge in an existing floor plan. Our 3010 is being redesigned to have a pantry next to the fridge. You can also option to replace the 6 cubic foot fridge and pantry with a 12 cubic foot (4) door fridge.

rvdirect now has the 12 cubic ft fridge option listed for the 3010.

ps. I've also found that rvdirect has new things for sunseekers listed far before forest rivers website

Yes...that is the fault of their sales rep that spills the beans too early. We haven't even switched over in production yet. The earliest you would see units hitting lots that way would be late August, early September.

GERRYM51 - I noticed that. They also have exterior TV / DVD / radio option too. Although, just my opinion, they are pricey options (realize there is a discount off the MSRP but still).

BCLEMENS - Do you anticipate the 3100 floorplan being discontinued, phased out, or going away? There are not too many for sale right now on dealer lots. Seems to be mostly 2300, 2860, 3010, & 3170.

Funny, we just had that discussion today in a meeting. Unless we plan on making huge engineering changes that require print updates, we will continue to build the 3100. The 3100 has been built for a long time. Many dealers just want to stock the best selling/newest 4-6 floor plans. The 3010 has taken away from the 3100 buyer segment...unless you want to eek out every weight savings, most people opt for the 3010 which is why it's our #1 seller right now.
