New lights

Don’t remember where I saw this mod but I copied it. Added 25 feet of dimmable LED light strip above the slide.

Similar. I got the version with a touch sensitive dimmer. Needs to be 4000 color temp to prevent glare.

emm-dee,

Did you attach the LED strip to the top of the trim or on the back of it facing the wall? Ironically we just got back from a trip where I said I would be doing this myself since the newer replacement LED's I have installed are brighter then the factory versions and we need some light in the RV that does not blind you.

I posted my LED lighting mod back in mid-October.
I attached the LED strip to the backside of the trim facing the wall. It lights upwards and backwards giving an atmosphere lighting like in a movie theatre.

I copied the idea from the post kenandterry is referring to, and thanks to him for reminding me where the idea came from. There’s a USB outlet close by to tap for power. The strip faces the wall.

Hey emm-dee.....

No problem. My memory is great.......just short.

I’m not trying to claim copyright on the idea. I did this mod yeeeeeeeears ago in our Georgetown for the same reason. We find it provides a warm comfortable lighting for what we need most times. The factory LED lighting is a little too bright and harsh, and I found the warmer temps of light from the rope light perfect for our needs.

Everyone.....enjoy.
