New Sunseeker for me
Picking up a Sunseeker 3050S in two days. Super excited and just wanted to share my joy with people that would understand.

We know exactly how you feel! We ordered our Forester three years ago and picked it up in December 2013. We've had so many good times in it since! You'll love the floor plan, too!

Teaman here.
Congrats... Will be fun.
I also am a recent Sunseeker buyer. got a 'shorty' Sunseeker 2300. I thought I'd try a shorty RV this time after owning a 31 ft travel trailer and pickup rig for years. I was looking for something easier for this oldtimer to handle on the roads and this particular model had a very long bed compared to most RV beds. Now my feet don't hang over the end of bed. Almost always had to sleep diagonally for this tall boy. Next year I will give it a good road test to see if short will work for me.
Yours seems about the right length (what I'm used to tho). I know you'll like it.

We love our 2401W. It's still new to us. Right now, we have a beautiful view over the puget sound, my husband is watching football on TV and I'm rearranging stuff and making lists of things we need and things we have packed we don't need. I discovered the subwoofer under the drawers that are under the wardrobe. I can't imagine how you could access it.
It has very nice touches with the light that comes on when you open the wardrobe door, nice directed lights over the bed and I decided I like the cordless Dyson vacuum cleaner. Refrigerator chills up quickly and furnace heats the place up fast. All the throw pillows I made make that dinette more comfortable.
Happy Trails and congratulations to y'all!!

Good to go! Measure you cabinets when you get it, so you can fill them up properly..
Lets see TPMS, sun shades, spare parts, tire guages, auxheater, water pressure guage, power protector,,, and the number one item.. the blender...
Congrats.

We have the exact same unit and love it!
It has an amazing amount of storage. We had two grandkids on the road with us this summer and found it had plenty of room for all!
Enjoy yourselves!

Hoglu,
I see you have a Sunseeker 2300 also, and ours is the first Class C we have owned, having come from a line of fifth wheels and buses.
My question for you is specific: Where did you mount your antenna, as well as the ham rig? I bought a new Kenwood dual bander, which is pretty small, and allows the head to be remote mounted. I did discover that the front part of the RV body actually has steel under the fiberglass roof at that point, apparently enough for a ground plane. Your ideas will be appreciated!

Congratulations! We also are new Sunseeker owners, a 2860DS for us, purchased on August 28, 2016. We had some issues first few times out but the dealer fixed everything and our last time everything was near perfect. We love it. Good luck and enjoy.

Running a kenwood handheld with a dimond cat tail ant., have not done a radio mod yet. I have a got an extra 30 amp service on a concrete pad, bring your 2300 over sometime and we will rig it up...

I've had a 2014 3050SF for a couple years and love it. Only complaint I have is the 4 door Refrigerator Freezer in it don't really get cold. Forget carrying Ice cream. MPG will greatly decrease once you pass 60MPH. I bought plastic slide in units for the pantry next to the refrigerator. They are so deep you'll loose the item in the back of them.

Sunseeker fridge
We have the 3050S so only have a two door fridge freezer and we have no problem with things staying frozen including ice cream.Perhaps there is an issue with yours.
Regarding the pantry my husband has put some lights on a strip which helps a lot!As soon as you go into the shelves the lights come on.I also keep things in narrow bucket style bins and also label everything- ie- breakfast items.
It helps with finding things and keeping organized.I keep less used items at back.

Bad Freezer
I never had any trouble with freezers with any of the previous 2 door refrigerators. Just this 4 door.

Double check your door latches on the 4 door fridges. They have been notorious for breaking and it's not real obvious without a very close look. I've replaced mine once already. It's often enough to make a difference in the inside temps. Supposedly, later models featured an updated design but I've never been able to confirm. Mine is on a very early 2015 model year and still had the issues.
