New to the site but not to RVís

Hello everyone! We purchased a Sunseeker 3010DS in April. Had a small trip but nothing big. We do have some questions as the dealer isnít helpful.

1. Even when we hook up to power, we still have to have the house batteries on for anything to work. Is this correct?

2. How and can we use the outside awning speakers with the outside TV? Hoping so otherwise what a waste.

3. How do we drain the water tank? This is our 3rd RV and always was a simple process.

Thank you in advance for the help and advice. Read through many posts and everyone great!

Yes you do need your 12 volt switch on to run several items...even though you are hooked up to shore. Refrigerator requires both.

The tank drains (hot and cold) should be below each tank. Look under the rig...there should be a blue and a red plastic line and valve.

My speakers run off the coach radio only. (IU do not have an outside TV though)

Lots of help on here for questions.

I have a 2017 Sunseeker. The awning speakers are for the inside radio and CD player. I don't like the awning speakers. I would rather have them on the body of the rig. I had a few issues with mine and Forest River and the dealer took care of them all. Good luck with yours.

I have a 2014 3010DS, Yes I have the house battery switch on to have power. I don't have any outside speakers. I do have experience draining the water tank on mine on the passenger side under the compartment where there's an access panel for the water pump, the small storage area the second one from the back. Both the hot and cold can be drained from underneath that storage area.
