New to us 250ITS Mystery Switch Question

We have just purchased a 2014 ITS. We paid for a PDI but the dealer never did one. However, this is not our first RV but our fifth. I have figured out everything but one switch which is on the driver's seat. When I push the switch I hear a click in the battery box but do not know what it does. I had restored a 1984 Airstream classic motorhome and it had a switch on the driver's seat to lock the side door and I thought this was the same but it is not.

One interesting problem was convincing my brain I was backing up a motorhome and not a trailer. Years of towing have ingrained me to turning opposite of the direction I want to go. I backed into our gutter and broke the window over the cab.I have replaced it already thanks to eBay and learned my lesson.

That may be your emergency start switch which connects the coach batteries to the chassis battery for starting. This is just a guess on my part.

Suspect this switch activates a relay that connects the house batteries to the chassis battery, essentially allowing you to “jump start” the vehicle from the house batteries should the chassis battery be too weak. Believe some have reported using it to start the generator from the chassis battery should the house batteries be too low.
Again, just my suspicion based on your comments.

On our 2019 Sunseeker 3010DS, that is the emergency start switch. Located on the left side of the driver's seat, down on the bottom.
