Had that issue earlier this summer on a long trip. All of a sudden no dash air. Did some research online and found that the pressure switch for the accumulator located by the battery can go bad. I jumped the wires on the switch and it worked! So I ran down to my Ford dealer and picked up a new switch and had to by the wiring harness also as the configuration for the replacement had changed. Cost about $50. Just followed the instructions that came with the switch and harness. Switch was easy to replace as it just unscrews from a shrader valve on the tank and the wiring harness spliced in. I think there is a Youtube video on how to replace it if you need it.
