I had my LPG tank filled. Now I get no gas to stove? Is there more then one shut off?

Try closing the valves on the tanks and reopen them very slowly

It may take a while if the line was emptied. You may also make sure everything is off, then turn off the gas valve at the cylinder, wait a minute, then turn the valve back on very slowly.

Biggest mistake is that people open the valves too fast.

Thanks. No luck so far. The tank was about 1/2 empty. Just topping off for next trip. How long is a while? Tried for several minutes. No gas to fridge either.

Do you have a two tank system?
If so is the other tank turned on?

Are you getting air coming out of the stove?

Is the propane tank selector in the direction?

From one tank to another.
But I'm sure you addressed it when you said you only have one tank.

I hope this doesn't offend you, just trying to cover all the bases. Did you open the valve on the tank after they filled it? Most stations close the valve but don't bother to open it back up.

Could be-----------

Could be the "PIG TAIL" line that hooks to the tank. It has a ball check valve inside the line that is known to get stuck. I had to replace mine after doing the exact thing as you. Topped off a tank that was working, after topping off the tank, could not get any gas. Bad pigtail. Try disconnecting the tank from the pigtail. Open the valve on your stove to bleed any pressure down. Re-connect the pig tail, turn on tank valve slowly.

It is a start for your problem!

Try another tank.
Any gas grill tank should work.
Borrow one from a neighbor if necessary just to test.
That way you can see if it's a stuck valve in your tank or
something else further down the pipe

Good luck!

No flame at stove and yes the valve has been opened and closed multiple times now. No gas to stove or fridge. One tank on a 2014 3050S. I'll have to check that pigtail line when I get home. Seems ridiculous to have these problems, should be open and lets go.

What does the gauge on the tank say? Is it full, or even beyond full?

For the gas to work properly, the tank must have only about 80% propane in it. The gauge on the tank will read full when the tank has 80% liquid in it. The other 20% of the tank is room for the propane to vaporize and thus turn into the gas needed to burn. When filling the tank, there is a small triangle shaped valve that the technician is suppose to open (a little "vent"). When the gas escaping from the vent turns to liquid, the tank is 80% full. The vent is closed by the tech and the filling line shut off. If that is not done properly, the tank can be overfilled and have so much liquid in it that there is no room for the propane to vaporize.

You should return to the place that filled it and have them verify that they have not overfilled the tank. Don't try to check the vent yourself. The escaping propane, liquid or vapor, is dangerous. Gloves, eye protection a must. All power must be off in MH. These are the standard precautions all techs should take.

Much of what has been said about removing pigtails, etc., applies more to portable tanks on trailers. You should not have to do that on your MH.

Thanks RvBill3 that is most logical answer so far. the gauge is not past full and my RV dealer topped it off. Apparently I'll have to go back to them.

had a problem on my 3050s that the stove would not work. fr puts a long line under the stove to help when the slide extends. my was very long and crimped under the slide, that cut off gas to the stove dealer shorted the flex hose and now have gas to stove with the slide in and out remove panel under stove area and check line. hope this helps
