Oh so many questions: Truck Battery-lost charge

Hi All,
I am a new Sunseeker owner. My first RV was a 2001 Shasta that I fixed up and absolutely loved but it was time to upgrade. Now, I feel like I don't know a thing!
Either I need to replace the truck battery or something has pulled the juice from it. I have looked through my manual a million times to see if there was some type of shut off to the truck from the living quarters and I cannot find a thing! When I jump the truck battery it will charge enough to get the vehicle going but will not HOLD a charge. I guess I'll replace the battery but I am at a loss as to why it happened. Also, as you enter through the rv door down at the bottom left, what is the round dial near the stairs? I "get" everything else but I have no idea what that is. Again, searched the manual but I can't find a thing! Happy Camping and thanks in advance for any help!

Photos when possible please.
The truck battery has vampires that will kill it if you let it sit too long. Disconnecting the negative terminal will prevent that.
Without voltage numbers, can only guess that you 2016 battery is toast.

The big round switch is your house battery disconnect. Turn it off only when you are storing the coach.

More info, better answers. Photo’s better answers.
Happy Trails

Thank you so much Ducky. You are a saint. I appreciate the prompt reply and all of the information. It was very helpful...even with no pictures! I'll remember that for next time and I am sure there will be a next time. A lot has changed in 15 years! I can't believe I don't have to crank out my levelers! It is magic! Thanks Again!
