after several years in our salem trailer we traded for a 2006 forester that is really good condition 2 questions, does anyone know where the fresh water drain is? also it has a fresh water fill problem where even filling at a low rate it has back wash and after being fully filled water continues splash out slowly , any feedback would be appreciated thanks

Sounds like your fresh water vent tube may be blocked or the fill tube has a sag in it. Check those first.

Model number might help. The 3010/3011DS is an ongoing freshwater tank filling problem. We solved ours by placing an on/off valve with a two foot length of clear hose connected to the garden hose. By inserting this into the fill fitting, this normally allows me to fill the tank without much backflow.

Our freshwater drain is located inside the access door to the water pump in a passenger side compartment toward the rear of the coach.
