Outside Grill

I have a 3170ds I'm purchasing. Anyone know if there is a factory outdoor grill I can purchase with it? Also is there an exterior propane hookup for any grill or BBQ?

Rvq grills are nice imo.
You may or may not have an external quick connect.

Your dealer should know these things.

you have to order it as an option, when you order your Sunseeker.
that way it's plumbed at the factory and the bracket is also installed there.
FR usually has the Sidekick grill as the factory option grill.
not sure if they still do.

We use ours all the time. No mess on camper or awning. I wouldn't be without one.

As Bikendan said, you typically need to order it as an option if you are ordering, or the dealer you are buying from will have had to order it as an option.

I ordered my 2014 Roo 233s with the outside grill. I was under the impression it was coming with an RVQue grill that Turbs mentioned, but it came with the cheaper quality, in my opinion, "Sidekick Grill." I am currently in the process of modifying my Cabela's Stainless Steel Tabletop Grill with a mounting bracket to be able to use it in place of the Sidekick, but in conjunction with with the removable bracket that mounts on the side of my Roo. Before I start doing this modifying, I will have to get a new propane temp adjustment valve/adapter with a quick disconnect for the Cabela's unit as the temp adjustment valve is connected to a propane regulator. The propane regulator on the RV should be sufficient enough to not need a second one on the Cabela's unit.

My 2015 Rockwood 2703WS came with the outdoor propane grill. Grilled dogs and burgers first time out. Has anyone used a griddle to fry eggs, potatoes and bacon on it. If you have can you tell me where you bought the griddle.

2014 nights camped (4) heading out again Oct 4th.

The 2860 (outside kitchen) came with an Aussie grill that is a very basic camp grill. It has the Quick connect feature but the grill is free standing and you have to lug the stand along
I have a Coleman tailgater with built in legs /wheels
This is not only a grill but a stove also cause of the way the burners and grate are designed
This unit completes my outside kitchen.its what FR should have used
It folds up nicely and stores in the compartment under the kitchen
There is a mod for this grill to use the quick connect on you tube
I like to use the little bottles cause it enables me to move the grill to other community cooking sites and saves on my big bottle
I get 4grills out of a bottle so that usually a short trips worth
They are available everywhere but I always have 2 or 3 on hand
The Aussie is packed up in storage and when I trade up on this unit I'll break it out

I agree the black grill that comes with the 2860 has a lot to be desired . I used it once and got out the stainless one I bought at Costco for $99 and it works a lot better. I've got a few different adapters so I can use it with the quick disconnect, small bottles, or external 5 gallon tank. That option makes it nice.
