You may have to clean something, but I doubt it.
On my oven I have to:
Turn the knob to pilot, and push the knob in.
Place a lighter under the pilot light area, and continue to hold the pilot knob in. I might take some time for the pilot to light.
When the pilot lites, continue to hold the pilot light knob in. This allows the thermocouple to heat up, recognizing that the stove now has flame. If you release the pilot knob too early, the flame will go out.
Leave it on pilot for a couple of minutes, then turn the oven know to the desired temperature.
