You can buy an adapter for a few $ so you can plug into any standard outlet. Since a standard 110v outlet is only 15 or 20 amps you just have to limit what you put on but a regular outlet can even run the A/C but nothing else. I have done it.

Yep I have the adapter but I have not had good luck running the air on a 110 house service (barn in this case)
I pop breakers at home so I use the Genny
Plus I don't like to use too much power at my storage,I don't pay for it, my host does and it's easier to just pay for the Gasoline used.

I'm glad it works for you but my house was wired by some amateur so I don't use elec for air but I do plug in at home to run the lights and pre cool the 2refers ;-)
