Huge thanks bclemens. Those are priceless. Just what I was looking for. Third picture down was one of the adjustments I was referring to with the multiple holes for adjustment on the drive shaft. Not sure if this piece is accessible after removing the panel covered by carpet. Second option was the set screw you referred to. Where there's a will, there's a way. I'll give it a closer look when I get home, now that I know what I'm looking for. Thanks again.

I also wonder if you could just move the "in" stop on the rail or if that has to be perfectly square.

Not sure. I'll be digging in a week. In case it didn't get noticed on the other thread, do you know when the 39 gallon gray / black tanks went into production on the SS and Forester? Mine was built some time in October I think. VIN 1FDXE4FS5CDA84762.

Update. I managed to get to shaft with the multiple bolt holes for adjustment. Removed the bolt, rolled the back side out, slid the drive shaft over and resecured the bolt. Didn't really help that much, but it is just a shade better. I cannot find the "In" stops. The out stops are easy to get to. I probably fiddled with this thing for 3 hours and it is a little better, but still not like it should be. Where in the world are the "In" stops? If they are like the out stops and can be adjusted, this would solve the problem, provided you can get to them. All I can say as far as accessing stuff is WOW. Got the battle scars as a result. Might I suggest adding a removable access panel under the back dinnette seat, or anywhere else it might be handy just for this work? This is the first slide that was this hard to adjust. As for the gear with the allen set screw, not happening. I could probably get it loose, but I'm scared of the key stock falling out, plus it's way harder to access than that bolt was.
