Power awning switch not working

2012 sunseeker 2450 awning switch won't work. Makes no sound. Anyone have ideas. Is there a fuse in the wire? No fuse in fuse box marked awning.

I think our delivery person said the fuse is up in the awning itself toward the front side. Sorry I can't help more. I'm sure someone will come along with more specifics.

I think your delivery person was making up an answer to your question.

Our fuse is in a pigtail behind the WFCO Power Center. Others have found theirs there also. You have to remove the screws that hold it in and carefully pull it out. You may find several pigtails back there (mine had 3). Find the fuse that was bad.

It could be a bad switch. Search some threads from several months back. jamiller45 was talking about it. (He used to be on here a lot before his job changed with FR.)

For sure!

Although most of the failed switches would work in one direction but not the other, or stick "ON."

I'd unscrew the switch and check its' functionality with a meter. As noted before there were problems with the switches staying on. Unfortunately when that happened it often fried the motor.

Make sure the keys are not in the ignition. I've overlooked this many times, when the ignition is on this switch will not work, it makes no sounds, etc....
