Propane gauge

Can someone tell me if you just pull this gage off is it a snap on ?
Mine reads 1/2 full and I know it’s empty. Is there something behind the gageClick image for larger version

It's a snap on 90º remote ohm sender. May not be just the gauge though.

The gage was ok just had to tap the regulator. Thanks for the help

FYI, the propane tank is designed to last the lifetime of the RV, sadly the paint on it is not designed to last more than 10 years. If you have any rust you will want to clean it up and repaint, or spend $$$ for a new tank. My local propane supplier warned me, he said: clean it and paint it now or in 2-3 years I will no refill it for safety reasons.
