None of the above. I will use a tow defender or guardian rock shield for our AK trip next year but just for CONUS travels I do not bother. Same toad last 8 years and no broken headlights and of course, never any paint chips…

A very similar question was just asked in this same forum 11 days ago. To avoid having parallel conversations on the same topic, a moderator may want to consider merging the threads. https://www.forestriverforums.com/fo...is-237436.html

To shield the toad from rocks, we have the standard mud flaps behind the duallies, then the Rock Solid rubber strips rock guard all the way across the rear just in front of the bumper. When not pulling the toad, I remove a center section of the Rock Solid in hopes it will improve air flow under the coach.

What is this product and where can I buy it? Looks like it should be easy and effective to install!

I really like it.... easy to install (6 eye screws - 4 on the MH bumper and 2 on the toad) and has its own storage bag. I've used it going to Illinois a couple of years ago and to VA Beach the last two. No problems whatsoever.
IIRC there are 2 sizes. I had to get the longer due to using a Ready Brake along with my tow bar. Not sure what size a person would need for a dolly. Check with the seller. He was very good to work with.

Protection from rocks

Bezolla, we have the same setup as Mr Grinch. Ours is about 4 years old and never had any rock chips, etc. Also, reduces grime on the back of the motorhome from the dirty swirling mist when streets get wet.
We are 4 down but works with a dolly according to their site. I read where a few folks copied this design for a DIY, but honestly for the price $230 I will just buy another when this one eventually wears out.
