And, starting with the 2012 Wrangler, the steering wheel no longer locks and no key is needed to tow it. Really as simple as it gets.

The steering wheel has to be unlocked to tow 4 down not locked.. that way it turns and follows the RV. it tracks straight on its own..

That the reason some add the Batt cut off switch. the steps I have to take now is once the Jeep is in place and hooked up I have to turn the key to run, put the main transmission into neutral, put the transfer case in neutral, make sure the park brake is not set, get out, open the hood and turn off the batt switch... drive on..

What Zook said. Because of caster built into every modern vehicle to some degree, the Front wheels will track straight until the motorhome "coaxes" it to turn. On my six-speed, I put my transfer case into neutral and my gearshift into any gear, per Jeep instructions in my manual.

If the battery is disconnected how would I power the Brake Buddy? Wire a plug for it directly to the battery?

We pull a 2004 Tracker, also 2014 Sunseeker 32 ft. No problems towing 4 down. Pulled on our old rv for 9 years before getting our new Sunseeker. Trackers are lightweight around 3000 pounds, great for towing, just wish Suzuki still sold them here.

Yes. Brake Buddy sells a kit for that.

I have a 2006 Sunseeker 26' and we love towing our new 2013 Fiat 500 manual shift. Nothing to do except put it in neutral. No key required and the steering wheel does not lock. Easiest and lightest tow we ever had. Don't even know its there. No change in gas mileage.

We have a 2013 3050 and have towed a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, 3 weekends so far with all 4 tires on the ground. It is a learning process to get everything working and we are getting quicker at attaching to the motorhome. Just a caution for everyone, my brother - in-law also is pulling a 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk and he has a much shorter turning radius when it is attached. His car hit his ladder and put a ding on the car during a tight turn.
